Arusha Coffee Lodge, a 5 star lodge in Arusha, is situated on the Burka Coffee Estate, a working coffee plantation spanning 17 acres. The lodge offers 21 private chalets, each with luxury en-suite facilities, including shower, bath and separate toilets. The chalets are built on raised wooden platforms with multi-level bedrooms, private lounges and huge balconies overlooking Mount Meru and the plantation. Eight rooms contain king size beds and 13 contain twin (three-quarter, extra length) beds. Triple rooms are available on request.

The interior décor of each chalet is designed around a coffee theme such as Café Latte, Espresso and Cappuccino. The honeymoon suite, the largest on the estate, is located in the Old Stable block with an en-suite bathroom containing a bath of luxurious proportions.

All the chalets have a mini bar, room service, hair dryer, safe, coffee percolator, tea and coffee caddy and a fireplace. In keeping with the coffee theme, bathroom amenities include cappuccino-scented soap. The rooms are also equipped with overhead ceiling fans, mosquito nets and telephones with Internet adapters.

Meals are served at the restaurant with a menu that reflects an array of both traditional Tanzanian cuisine and other African specialities. For the late-risers, a ‘breakfast in bed’ option is available.

Other facilities include a swimming pool, beauty salon, 24 hour room and laundry service, meals served on your private balcony on request, curio shop, beauty salon, conference/private function room and day rooms.
