KLEIN'S CAMP

Klein's Camp offers the ultimate private Tanzanian safari. Deep in the heart of Maasai territory in north-eastern Serengeti, a private concession is set aside for the exclusive use of the 20 guests. There are no vehicles for miles around. The lodge is hidden among the Kuka Hills and commands breathtaking views of the valleys along migratory routes of wildebeest and zebra.

Klein's Camp has ten intimate twin-bedded cottages made of rock and thatch with rich wooden floors and serene, classic interiors. The round stone walls of the cottages and polished wooden floors offset the soft cream and gossamer interiors. As in days gone by, water for the shower of your en suite stone bathroom is warmed each evening by a roaring fire under the tank while you enjoy quiet sundowner drinks on your private veranda. Escorted by the quiet, regal Maasai, dinner waits in the lantern-lit dining room overlooking the valley below.

The public areas of Klein's camp also have stunning views of the valleys below. The camp has a large bar/living area a short walk downhill from the dining room. A large fire place graces the dining area which is elevated above the lounge area, and a short walk from the reception and curio shop and gallery. The camp also boasts a swimming pool and leisure deck.
